160 women aged between 45 and 65 were examined to see the effect of apple on women's health. The participants were divided into two groups and one group received 75 grams of dry apple every day for one year and another dried fruit to the other group. Blood samples were taken from all participants at the end of the 3rd month, 6th month and 1 year.
At the end of one year, women in the group eating dry apples had lower cholesterol levels than the other group. Experts said that if the group eating dry apples eat fresh apples, similar results will be seen.
